Got a question:

The three lights that strobe in the launch lane (with the green light causing the gate to open) are a skill shot, right? They just strobe until you launch high enough to contact that switch, then it light on wherever it was at that time and that's what you get, right?

I have a customer who is telling me that it's not working right, and that it's supposed to light up at some other time after the ball has launched? That doesn't seem right, and I can't find anything wrong with it.

Also, is it supposed to play sounds when you roll over the little buttons on the top right? This one does not.

And the A-G-E-N-T-G-K target lights up top - I guess you hit the lit target to advance it to the next target? I thought they lit as you hit them, but nothing was lit except the E, and when I hit it, it went out and the N lit up.

Thanks for letting me know....

The skill shot is used to open the ball saver gate on the bottom lefthand side. If you hit it in the right spot it opens the gate. I believe it should make sounds when you go over the little rollover buttons on the top left. Not sure about the rest...

BTW - I finally got my boss to let me call and talk to the lady myself, and figured out what she was talking about. She was complaining that after my boss did his last service call, the weapons lights in the upper left wouldn't hold between balls, and would change to different spots. I checked and saw that dip switch #14 had been turned off, so it was in Random mode (easier) instead of Skill mode (harder). I switched it back and it's working like she wants.

Fixed some bad displays, replaced the broken little upper flippers, replaced some bad bulbs, cleaned her up, and she's ready to go back...

The left double outlane design on that pin sucks, really ruined the game for me. My buddy used to have one and the only thing I REALLY liked was the classic spyhunter tune it plays haha.

It is a challenging pin though, and I do like that...

Had it... the game was fun once you learned how to control the inside left lanes gate. That said it still drained like a MO-FO to the left. Especially with that bumper on the left and ball coming out of the left mini field area. I tried for about a year to get a Spy Hunter vid to stick next to it. I sold the pin and ended up with the vid a few months later. I now wish I had the pin back.
