The arcade cabs site only has side panel patterns at full scale. Has anyone converted the other files to
1:1 scale printable patterns?

Or, worst case scenario, does anyone know how much the files need to be upscaled to be correct size?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I have the plans in 1:1 PDF files. They have been set up to fit 4 x 8 wood sheets. I will PM you a link to them to you once I get home tonight.

I lied to you, I can only find a full set of cockpit plans. I will dig on the laptop tomorrow for the upright plans.
I found the full size paper print outs for the UR so I clearly had the files at one time.

If you can find upright plans send them my way as well. Been trying to convert dfx file off Classic Arcade Cabinets website to pdf and having trouble with the free not free software used to accomplish this.

That's exactly the reason I posted my request here! You can open the DXF file in photo editing software like photoshop for example (although illustrator would probably work better)
but without knowing what scale to resize it at, it's anyone's guess. :) I love the classicarcadecabinets page, but most of the printable "plans" are side panels only.

I once accomplish this with the draft site software they recommend but now my free use ran out. They explained it on your CAD information on their website how to use draft site and accomplish this. I did it for centipede cabaret, and the plans were accurate enough to build a cabinet.

I have not been on the forum much recently. I have video howto posted here. https://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/video-series---how-to.html

While the videos and software are dated, the principals remain.

Remember that the dxf files are unit agnostic, so 1 unit = 1 inch as the drawing were made. To convert to metric, multiply by 2.54.

I previously cut the upright plans of Star Wars for someone local and they went together well.

Thanks for the pointer to the videos and to everyone else who chimed in!

I have a question about one of the pieces on the plans. The long wavy angled piece that goes from the control panel area up into the head of the cab... is that piece even used? None of the photos of real cabs I've found have that piece in place. Was it a prototype part or something? All the cabs I've seen use an "L" shaped bracket which the plastic bezel rests on.
