i have a few questions about a 1953 williams pitch and bat. they made 4 that year, all basically the same. deluxe baseball, star baseball, pennant baseball, deluxe special. mine has 2 buttons on top. one pitches, i think the other starts a game. there is a button on the right side that worked the bat. i think that isnt original. the handle in the front, near the coin door , i think is the bat. i never used it . now the game is giving me grief, and i want to know what button does what, so i can fix it right.

thanks

Williams pitch and bat

I don't know your game specifically, but I had a pinch hitter a while back. The 2 buttons on the top controlled the pitch. One was to pitch a fast ball, the other a curve. The curve ball used an electro magnet under the playfield. The levering the right side of the cabinet controlled the bat. If your game does not have a curve ball feature, the 2 buttons on top maybe for a slow ball pitch and a fast ball pitch.

this game is more primative. one speed pitch. it turns out, one button is to pitch, one button is to start a game. the lever in the front is to bat( very poor and awkward). the " flipper button on the right side of the cabinet is an add on, and also works the bat. it dint look like an add on because it has an old style bakelite button, just like the others.
