Anyone got a true vintage arcade sign?

And one of my most prized possessions. The sign from the mom & pop video store in my home town that i rented tapes in my entire youth. Pictured here with my nephew whose parents (who still lived in my hometown) picked up for me after i reached out to the owners when they announced they were closing the shop. I offered to buy it, but they would not hear of it and gifted it to me. I rented a lot of NES and Sega Genesis games in that place too,

That's pretty cool! I've got a couple video store signs but they're nothing like that. One is just one of the small foam Blockbuster signs that they had hanging in the back of the store above the "new releases" area and the other is just a plastic sign that came from a grocery store my cousin worked at that just says "Video" from their old video rental department

A couple more. Pinball...Pinball neon sign was on the wall at Ron Salny's location Video Video in New Jersey. A well known pinball spot for about a decade. Ron gifted it to me after it closed and has hung on the back wall of my business since mid 2000's.

My store front has an old triangle sign with pool balls, it was a gift, no idea where it started life at. Next to it is my animated Goose neon. Hanging in my window for about 25 years.

Lol the last thread was also your creation. You give this one a lot of thought.

The one I'd most like to see found is Williams Devastator. I've heard rumors that there's one out there, locked up in some dude's basement. I hope those rumors are true, and maybe it'll emerge one day. It's crazy that there's footage of the game, and very few parts for it have surfaced, and zero confirmed cabinets.

Not sure where this originated from, but I got it 3 years ago from Marketplace. I like it, though.

I've got one with some history.

Early in the 1900's there was a company that made B B gun ranges called Rifle Sport, these signs hung on canvas fronts on the counter the guns laid on.

Now around 1946 an arcade opened at 812 Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was named Rifle Sport. My father bought it in the early 1960's. He lost his lease in 1970 and moved upstairs at 602 Hennepin Ave. He had a .22 caliber shooting range already, and added a B B gun range, he had bought two of them used and made them into one. This sign hung on the canvas drop on the counter where the guns rested.

My father died in September 1981, my sister inherited it and moved it back to street level at 5th and Hennepin ( the old Fit Well men's clothing store ) and renamed it Pop's.

This sign hung on the wall there until October 2001 when she closed. She gave me the sign, and it has hung on the wall in my business ever since. SS Billiards, Hopkins,MN.

Great story and sign...thanks for sharing. I loved the shooting gallery back in the day and dream of building my own.
