Does anyone make an adapter to play a jamma board in a nintendo cab like Donkey Kong? Did not have any luck searching for one

Yes, but I haven't had a chance to give it a test in a real cab.

Has anyone come across one yet? Looking for one to use in a donkey kong Jr cab

im picking up a red tent soon which has been converted to jamma if that counts. i can ask about a pinout for you

So no one knows of anyone who makes these? Willing to pay someone to build one as well possibly. Would rather have an adapter so I don't destroy a classic to build a multicade. Would like to put a 60 n 1 board in it, then when I am done, just switch it back to DKJ.

I did that... I just removed all the original everything and put in a Jamma adapter, wired it to a new control panel I built that fits in the original Nintendo cab. Everything is reversible. I even used the same mounting holes for the monitor (used an LCD). I replaced the 100V marquee light with a 110v one from home depot.

Here is what it ended up looking like:

Ummmmmmmmmm. I hate to see a Nintendo cab like that - it's painful .... really.
Well it's easily reversed and/or converted props to you for thinking ahead.

I hope you are joking.

No, I am not. I was able to have a 60-in-1 that I can convert back in just a couple of hours. No damage done to the cab.

I know. It was a tough decision, but I had an extra nintendo cab and needed a 60-in-1 so it made sense...

I've got a DK Jr cab that was converted to jamma and currently running Double Dragon II. I've gotten help on the forums to get the Sanyo 20 EZV back into top running shape and now my plan is to purchase an orginal DK Jr CP, Bezel, and Marquee and repaint it the original orange and 60 in 1 it. I already have a dedicated DK and DK (Red) someone converted to SMB Vs (My next clean up project.) I also need a vertical mount for the DK Jr if anyone knows how to make or where to buy one.

I have $500.00 that says you are wrong. ;) Unless you have some mad painting and wiring skills (and a time machine) that I am not aware of. :)

I might take you up on that... Sides are covered in vinyl with the original sides painted and sealed. 15 minutes and the vinyl is off. 60 minutes to rewire the cab (wiring is all there, just needs to be re-ran through the cabe. 10 minutes for the marquee light. Coin door is not connected to the 60-in-1, so that is easy. 30 minutes for the Sideart. 20 minutes to remove the LCD and install the monitor. 20 minutes for the CP, bezel, marquee.

Total 155 minutes: 2 hours, 35 minutes. :)

I'm looking for the same thing. Would be cool to have a complete Kong Row with all versions of DK along with Crazy Kong. But I need a JAMMA adapter to play it in a Nintendo cab.

Full on bootleg the way it was meant to be played!

Google works wonders.

No need to obscene money to VectorScams.

I'm gonna say at this point I'm pretty convinced that part does not in fact exist, and if it did it was most likely a prototype. I have now tried twice to order that part and this is how the scenario goes:

Inquire about the part or inquire about general order details you will have a reply within the next day, make an attempt to order the part you will never get another reply.

So if this is in fact Mark as it appears it is from your signature why bother promoting it if you don't intend on selling it? I have searched and searched all over the net and continue coming back to this link, but I have never once seen anybody who obtained the product or so much as put in a review about the product. I'm willing to pay $50 no problem, I think that's a great price for an adapter that can do as it claims, and I would even go so much as writing up a review on it and posting it on my DK restoration page and if it works give recommendations, but until I ever hear back from you with payment & shipping info I would advise others to disregard this link as often as it pops up and just look into a jamma harness and inverter board if their monitor doesn't already have it.

I don't know what Mark's beef is with VectorLabs or anyone else for that matter, but I say the more people out there providing these types of products, the better. I've bought products from both Mike (VectorLabs) and Mark and have been happy with both.

To your point, Mark does take a while to respond and I was lucky enough someone on KLOV who knows him personally reached out to him for me. Though, I know other people have had better luck in contacting him and getting their parts quicker. Regardless, I have nothing against Mark and have to say he makes exceptional products.

In regards to Mark, I posted this thread that hopefully sheds light on how the process works with him: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=269138

In regards to the JAMMA to Nintendo adapter, I posted this thread: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=285840

Good luck! :)

Im blinded.

God grant me the serinity to accept the multicades i cannot change

the parts to restore the ones i can

and a truck that will surely go the distance.

I bought one and recieved it last week from cambridge. Mark is legit. It took a little patience for the process of obtaining the adapter but that is common with many arcade part sites. I have waited a month for a pacman jamma adapter from jammaboards.com in the past. Everything in this hobby takes patience. As for a review I am very happy with price and the product. Thanks Mark.
