I live in Las Vegas and have bid and won a few cabinets in the last few auctions. However I have not been overly satisfied with the conditions of the cabinets i have won from the pictures and limited info they provide. I do realize it's an auction and they don't do cleanup on the games. So I'm looking for a nice fellow KLOV member to possibly check out a few games I want to bid on for me as a fellow collector. I'd like someone who goes all the time and could simply call or txt me the day of the auction during the preview a few quick things about the monitor and overall cabinet conditions to help me decide if I need to put more $$ than it's worth into these cabinets. if anyone goes on a regular basis and will be going on March 3rd please PM me some contact info. I only buy/bid on 2-5 games an auction so it should only take up 10 minutes of your time. I also pay to have them picked up and delivered so when they show up all beat up I get disappointed and have reservations for future auctions. I wish I could make it there in person but I care for my parents and on weekends it takes alot of my free time up.
Thanks in advance
Chris

send me a pm...

on the whole for anyone else I would say you *cannot* go by the pictures in the online listings for captains auction. Not that their stuff is crap or anything, but the vast majority of it was on route, in storage after being on route, etc and a single picture is never going to tell you the whole story. Plus there have been numerous, numerous times when a "working" game according to the website doesn't work or stops working when it comes time for the actual bidding, but online people are still bidding like it's perfectly working.
