Anyone familiar enough with Sega Monster Bash to tell me what I am missing?

I am told there are 5 PCB's needed to make this game run. It appears I have 4 ... 3 large boards, and one smaller board connected to one of the larger boards.

Anyone have any idea what I am missing? Or if I am missing anything at all?

Are there any photos of these boards floating around? I found one, but it was only one board (not five).

Thanks in advance!

Have you found a manual for the game? That probably will have all the boards listed in it.

Most all boards from Sega have a label on them somewhere. Also, that daughterboard doesn't count as one of the 5 (you are missing 2 more).

To me, looks like the ROM board is missing (generic between the Sega g80 games), and the CPU board is missing (which contains the valuable security chip also used by Zektor).

I believe the other three boards should be the video board, the background board, and the audio board.

Mark is right on this one, you are missing the security board which are valuable for other things, as Mark said, it is the same for zektor. I know i parted out a nice monster bash years ago just for the boards to try to make a zektor

Thanks for the help, gentlemen!

It looks like I am missing two boards, then.

Any value left in what I do have? Clearly, I don't need these if I am missing two boards but maybe someone does ?!?!?

Damn!

You can still make it into a Monster Bash if you want; CPU boards are generic among the Sega G80 games (except for the security chip) and the ROM boards are also generic between them. They are fairly common.

As for the security chip...possibly make a security-free version of the romset? It's been done before...

Liquidating some stuff ...

I will sell all 3 Sega Monster Bash boards for $75.00 Shipped OBO if anyone is interested.
