Anyone every order from dirtcheaptrading

I just bought a power supply from them off eBay. It came quickly. It was made is Asia somewhere and the box was pretty funny because it was written in some broken English.

I have seen thei stuff through a listing on CL here in Michigan. Seems like it is a foreign company marketing through all sorts of channels.

I have bought a ton of stuff from Jason at dirtcheaptrading - he happens to live in GA also (not really close more like 1.5 hours away) but I have bought several 60-in-1s, multi-boars, joysticks, buttons, power supplies - he gets the stuff out fast and has good pricing.

I buy all my 60-in-1;s from him

I cant find the VGA converter - you got a link to that? I just ordered one from Canada for $25 but it takes foreva to get here - I didn't think he had any converters...

Thanks for the feedback. The pricing seems good. It is nice to hear that service is good as well.

I just bought one of those converters from him, he shipped it out fast, hopefully it's here today or Monday.

I guess I should have said I ordered it a couple of days ago, sorry :)

But I have been wanting to try one of these out for a while now. I'm on sort of an LCD kick lately.

I just use old crt's and buy cheap games that monitors are out, i get free 19-21inch crt's on craigslist all day long, it might not look exactly original but its better than not having a working game taking up space

Almost speaking of the devil, my converter board just arrived. It came with what I think is a CGA hook-up that I could solder to something, no power supply though (I guess these need a separate power supply that you hook into the wall?)

Now to get an LCD and test it out.

I would pick up cheap replacement CRTs but for games that use PCs already, I figure it's better to use an LCd since those can hook-up directly to the machine. I converted my Tokyo Drift's over quite easily but they were kits inside of Crusin' USAs to begin with. I haven't tried an LCD in a regular JAMMA yet but now I'll see how it turns out. Fingers crossed it's worth it.
