Anyone ever try the 2600 Harmony cart?

That is pretty hot... Thanks for the post.

Very nice ! Now if only they'd do this for the Lynx......sigh.....

OK I'll do the math: suppose 1 GB SD card, on an average game size of 4 kBytes on the 2600 that is....uhmm
1000000000/4096= 244,140.625 games......mmmm, I think a 1GB card will do.

Hey, that's cool. I have one of the 2600 Multicarts that Dave Widel used to make. It can be reprogrammed too, but you have to burn a new EPROM... not as convenient as an SD card! It already has just about every game on it though, so there's really no reason to mess with it.
The price of this Harmony cart is about the same as what Dave was charging, which is very reasonable.

I just realized these existed so I ordered one. Awesome cartridge I'm sure if I can get it working.

When you connect this to your PC, is it supposed to automatically get a drive letter? It doesn't seem to be doing it for me even though I have it listed in my devices and the application works. I just can't see what's on the actual SD card.

It seems you need to use a separate reader/writer. Nevermind about my question.

Ah, but there is one for the colecovision! It's called the ultimate sd by atarimax. it works great! I also have one for the nes, snes , vectrex atari 5200 and intellivision. They all take memory cards. I also have a vectrex multi cart and oddyssey 2 that have the games built in with no provisions for adding games, though they are pretty complete.

Now what I can't wait for is the harmony cart for the 7800 .

Amazing. Where have I been when all these came out? I was excited to get a multi cart for the Commodore Vic 20 a couple years ago but the concept of a storage card into a cartridge takes it to a new level. I have to get those other systems first.

I have one and LOVE it. I didn't like the label so I put Jr. Pac art on it.
If you don't have one, it's well worth it to get one. Especially when paired with a rebuilt controller.

Mine was particularly dirty with white haze on the cart and contacts and scratched, so be sure to clean it first.

Plugging the cart in itself via USB is only for software updates. Just plug a SD card into your computer and put the roms on there. It's all in the manual.
