anyone ever swap a monitor in a cockpit Missile Command?

Has anyone ever swapped out a monitor in a cockpit Missile Command? I've never looked inside mine at the monitor, but I've seen the monitor it came stock with, a Frankenstein looking Electrohome G02. Do other model 25" monitors fit in the cabinet frame with any special modifications?

If you swapped out the monitor but didn't replace it with a G02, what model monitor did you use? What troubles (or not) did you have? Thanks.

When i got mine, some lame-O had put a 19" in it. It has been a long time, but if i remember right, i put a k7000 25" in it. I really do not remember if i had to mod anything. I think it went in pretty smooth and if i did mod anything, it must have been minor or i would remember it.

You shouldn't need to do anything special to replace that G02 with something else.

Just wanted to clarify my question, I know another raster monitor would be electronically compatible. I was wondering if it would be cosmetically compatible, i.e., would it mount/fit without any extra or special cabinet modifications. The tube is the same, but the overall size of a G02 is much bigger than regular WG 25" monitors.

There is lots of room in the cab, you should be fine.
