I know about that thread, you can throw anything in those and it will coin up. These you can program so each coin does different pulses. Very cool.

That's the AnyCoinMech. It isn't the entire apparatus, just the part the coin runs through, basically you can put any size coin/washer in it.

MOQ = Minimum Order Quantity

It would appear you must order a minimum of each particular coin acceptor to get that low price each.

Remember that these types of electronic coin acceptors require +12 volts DC to operate. So you would need to bring a +12 volt wire to the coin acceptor's location.

Their Ca023 electronic mech will NOT fit a Midway door due to the fact there is too much stuff on the back of the acceptor and would not clear the mechanical coin reject linkages on the Midway door.

Thanks Ken! You are a wealth of knowledge! :D

If a person would get several people to go in on an order of these coin acceptors, then it would be worth it. The few I have tried a few years ago were very reliable.

They also have a "coin meter" output to directly drive a 12 volt coin counter meter.

Matt:

I have one out on the route in a Nintendo cabinet. Granted it's not the Happ one though. It's either a Wei-ya or a Lucky Sunshine one, but it looks exactly like that Happ one. It's been running for two years now with zero trouble.
