Anyone ever see a verticaly moutned game in an Atari System 1?

While doing my Road Runner cabinet swap, I was noticing that the panel that the monitor bolts to, is made to accept either a horizontal orientation (like all the System 1 games are) or a vertically mounted monitor. Then I looked at the Marble Madness flyer and one of the selling points is the ability to mount the monitor either direction.

Has anyone ever seen a game set up in one of those cabinets with the monitor mounted vertically?

Notice the cut out above and below the monitor. The top mounting locations are behind the removeable marquee light panel.

proto relief pitcher is horizontal.

most the system 2 cabs were vertical. Maybe they were thinking of using thats system 1 cab for system 2.. Also it could be as easy as atari ordering 1000's of precut wood mounitg frames and just used them in all their cabs. The later atari 19" drawer cabs also are cut for both monitor options..

Not sure about the System I, but some other cabinets have the monitor mounted to a SQUARE board that you can pull out and slip back in any orientation.

I think that's easier than slipping out the monitor and mounting it in different holes.

No vertical System II games.
