anyone ever put small black edge trim on bottom front of cab?

The front of my star wars upright has slight chipping all along the bottom edge of the front panel. Anyone ever put a small plastic trim piece along the bottom instead of using black marker or paint? If yes where did you get the trim?

I used a black trim piece kit made for cars. it has a 3m back stick

it worked well and did not look out of place

autozone carried it

I don't think I want to put a full kickplate on...just a small piece of black plastic edging maybe no wider than an inch...something barely noticeable...but covers the nicks that are at most 3/8" wide from bottom of panel ...

the autozone molding i used was about an inch in width and came in a decent roll of it.

I used it on roadblasters inbetween the steering gaps.. Also on bottom of a mrs pac
like you are wanting too

looked like it belonged

did not like the kickplate

I was actually just about to do this on one of my machines. I was going to pick up some 1/2" extruded aluminum angle from a home improvement store (generally in the hardware aisle, next to the miscellaneous drawers), cut it to length, drill a few holes along the length, and paint it black.

I used a plastic marquee retainer on this vs machine i restored

I've done this exact thing to a couple games - although I typically use 3/4 or 1" angle.
