Anyone ever polished Tempered Glass on a Cocktail

If the glass isn't rounded it shouldn't be that pricy. You can probably get it cut a little thinner than stock and still be fine.
 
I think it's nearly impossible to completely eliminate typical arcade scratches from tempered glass, that's the holy grail of restoration since there are so many instances of condition issues with scratched non-repro'ed glass artwork.

Harbor Freight does sell a cheap kit for scratch removal and I've thought about seeing how much improvement is possible, but haven't tried it. The main challenge is the sheer amount of material that needs to be removed to eliminate even a shallow scratch, and even if it were possible to sand one out, you're faced with a surface that's no longer flat and so it would be prone to visible distortion.
 
I wonder if putting clear vinyl like used on smartphone screen protectors would hide the scratches.

I am tempted to put on a coat of Triple thick on top, but I have a feeling it would be noticeable.
 
I just may take a crack (pun intended) at a small preorder of these glasses next year. Just so far behind I cannot commit to it this year.
