Has anyone played the spinner game Brick Zone by SunA? Same company that made Goindol. I'm picking one up this weekend (I hope, guy already rescheduled once on me). I want the Taito cab it's in, not the game, but was curious if anyone has played it since KLOV doesn't list it, and it's not available in MAME. I'll found out soon enough I guess, but I was just curious.

I remember that guy - it's in Bushwick, right? That's a bad neighborhood. Like, houses go on fire randomly, stray bullets, gang fights over turf....I'm not exaggerating. Be careful, go get it and get out of there.

That guy also blew me off, so I said screw it. I'm curious about that game though, I love Arkanoid clones.

Yep, that's the one. He ended up dropping it off at my house because he wanted the old piece of guitar equipment I had more than I wanted the cab. :D Thank god, because like you said that's not a warm and friendly kinda place. Played it a bit today and it's fun. The two spinners work fine too. I took some pics that I'll add to this thread tomorrow if you're interested in seeing them.

Sweet!! Yeah, I'd like to see pics whenever you get a chance. I'm glad you didn't have to go out there. My girlfriend teaches in old Bushwick High School, and the stories she comes back with...yikes! I'd say she was lying if some of the stuff didn't end up in the newspaper. I'm glad that somebody here scored the game and can shed some light on it!

Pics for Diabolus and everyone else clamoring for pics :D. Nothing fancy. Just a 1 or 2 player Arkanoid clone that was fun for the bit of time I played it yesterday ...

Thanks for the pics! I'm not going to lie, if I played it I'd probably want it. Did it come with a manual or anything? I would imagine not, the guy never answered when I asked him. Usual Arkanoid like gameplay?

I wonder what the marquee/bezel looks like.

Looks awesome - I too love Arkanoid-type games. My favorite yet is Ghox - played it on MAME - never seen a real one. I had a Goindol for a while. Paid $10 for it (working) at an arcade auction. Was ugly brown when i got it but slapped a coat of grey paint on and it looked pretty good. http://thebrokenjoystick.com/pictures/gone-goindol
