Something that resembles the original so that it fits with the cab? Something like the attached...

I did a bunch of these but here are few top two are probably what you're thinking about going for but I did a nutty re-arrange on the bottom one. lol I really ripped this thing a new one.

If someone could give me the actual dimensions of the CPO that would be great, I don't know if my file is 100% correct, and also the trackball opening. That would be awesome. LMK.

FWIW, are 3 buttons really needed on the regular 60 in 1 multis? I was under the impression that the 3rd button is only used by 1 game and even then not really needed.

Those designs look pretty good, though. I really like the "left handed" layout (buttons on the right). We lefties get screwed on quiet a few games sometimes. I've got a Galaxian cab here I'm planning on turning into a multi, and that is pretty much the layout I was going with.

I believe there are 2 games that use it- 1 being Gun.Smoke. Gunsmoke can be played with 1 button, but most people say this way sucks. I like the game and think three buttons work very well for it. The third button is also helpful when in the service mode, as it acts as a back button instead of having to cut the power and start over if you make a mistake or hit the wrong button. It's a big time saver.

Ahhhh... I wasn't aware that they had GunSmoke on there (never looked too hard at the games list). I just knew about the Arkanoid thing.

Good to know, I guess the 3rd button would be worth it then if you really like GunSmoke.

I did one but didn't add a trackball:

Works great for most my fav games in MAME (or at least the ones that I want to play on a vertical monitor and with my setup).

I think that's how I would do it. Only thing I don't like is the button on the right cramping Ms. Pac's style

I had to bump this thread... So I wanna hook up my mspacman with a 60-1 and those cpo's look sweet. I would like to get one of these cpos but what control panel does it fit? Also is arcadeshop the only place to buy a new multi panel?

How many games on the 60-1a need a trackball?
