Anyone ever go here ?

Nice article. I remember just about anywhere you went in the bay area in the 90's, Street Fighter II was everywhere and a group of people were always playing and/or gathering around to watch. Thanks for posting!

dated a girl from glen burnie.
and i've been to a couple Champions locations.
(roosevelt mall, philadelphia & christiana mall, delaware)

plus i've run a couple SFII tournements back then.

does that count? :)

I am not shocked by conversions, they are a fact of
commercial business. But I get a little nauseous
when they fail to cover up the original graphics which
have absolutely nothing to do with the installed game.

It takes ten minutes and a pint of black semi-gloss.

"Quartet Fighter 2" - Most conversions don't surprise me too much. Never saw a Quarter to SF2 though...before today.

Personally I am glad they didn't paint it since that game could still be restored! Quartet rocks and SFII conversions belong with generic cut-corner dynamo or the like cabinets!
