I was looking to purchase some stuff from them, my son wants the AGS control panel. I wanted to know about that if it is better then X-arcade panel, There game parts, etc. that they carry, really customer service with them. How was your experience? Anyone know about the AGS control panel, my boy wants it for his computer mame and pc games in his room, but I have never seen it like I have the X-arcade panel with track-ball. Thanks

Mike and his wife are top notch folks.

I've made a few purchases from Mike's... always high quality products and great customer service.

Mike often times ship same day. They're in Utah so I get my stuff from them (here in Idaho) very quickly. They're good folks.

Yeah, Mike's Arcade is awesome. I'm only a couple of hours north of him and we've made some arcade and pinball trades before. He's a top notch guy.

Don't even hesitate ordering from them. Ordered a Double Donkey Kong board from them. E-mail said it was on backorder and would take 3 weeks. Got it in less than 1 week.

Mike is super cool. Nice guy with great products and they support them 110%.

I agree. Easy to deal with and quick shipping. I had one order messed up and they made it right very quick. - Barry

I'll add to this. Mike's Arcade is legit and their customer service is great. I wanted to order buttons a while back and they were out of stock. Emailed me immediately when they came back in stock. Again, top-notch folks! :)

I'll be the one negative I guess...

I had a very crappy experience with them. I decided I didn't have time to do a DK PCB repair so I sent it off to them. After about a week I get the bill for ~$130 and think to myself... "DAMN!!! That'll teach me for being lazy!!!" :)

When I receive the PCB back it's doing the same thing it was before I sent it to them. Then I take a closer look at the PCB and the dust hasn't even been disturbed... no finger prints in it or anything to show they actually did anything.

Thinking they just messed up, I wrote to see how they want to proceed and I got the "it worked when it left... our techs burned it in for 24 hours..." :(

I got looking at the PCB and found a solder point that was barely soldered from the factor and broke free(only 1/4 of the hole had solder in it... it was very easy to spot).

I sent a couple pictures to them and they refunded me like $80 of my money... total waste of time and money for me. :(

Before that experience, I only had good things to say about them. But all my transactions before that were as me as the buyer, and them as the seller.

By now you don't need another recommendation for me. I will add that the usb/ps2 trackball adaptor in particular is a rather unique item that I buy from them and recommend frequently.

I never have a problem when ordering from Mike's AND YOU CAN SHOP ONLINE. I shop at Mike's whenever I can and then Arcadeshop if I can't find it somewhere else. Would be nice if Arcadeshop would do at least TWO things. ALPHABETIZE their freaking list of items in each section and ADD ONLINE ORDERING. COME INTO AT LEAST THE LATE 90's.

What really pisses me off about Arcadeshop's website is that I would sometimes like to make a list of items but they have some extremely gay 1995 javascript preventing copy and paste on their site so I have to view the source to copy the item descriptions. Weaksauce....:(

Sorry to hear that Jeff. I'm guessing the way they handle PCB repairs is way different than the way they handle their parts sales. But really lame of them to not offer you a full refund even when you gave them an explanation and pictures to show. :(
