I did an Ebay 'Buy it Now' from him a few days ago. Seemed like a pretty reputable seller. Sent him a couple contact messages to get directions and pickup. I like to pay at point of pickup on Ebay cabinet sales. But I can't get any replies.

Im guessing you bought the overpriced star trek?

Either way, thats is a retail company named big toys. Call them.

bro.

Never mind, I called the phone number listed on it and got hold of Jeff. Really nice guy.
Adam, I am not needing a Star Trek - I have the dedicated ST as you know. I was looking for a g08 and a psuedo complete boardset, cage and complete G80 power supply for my 4 plyr Eliminator project. I have no need of the cabinet itself. It's a Stargate that needs converted back. But I'll probably get rid of that to someone that needs a Stargate cabinet.
For A g08 monitor, G80 PS, G80 boardset and cage, I don't consider 299.00 high by any stretch. I'd venture to say the only thing I'd need electronically is an Eliminator (Meatball) sound board and the 4 player interface card if I go completely original with it.

Agree to disagree on that one.

Good luck though, Ive never heard anything positive about Big Toys. That might be why no one from michigan touched it.

Let me know how it turns out.

Big Toys is a retailer, but as far retailers go they are one of the better ones. The prices are going to be higher, it's a given. They have more overhead. I've known Jeff for close to 20 years, he's a genuinely good guy and so are the guys the work for him and I personally would rather deal with them than you even if the prices are higher.

Ive never delt with them, just going off what ive heard.

It's going to be hard to not cry myself to sleep tonight knowing you would rather deal with them then me

I'm not trying to slam you, I don't even know you. Jeff really is a good guy though and giving him negative press having never dealt with him yourself is kind of shitty. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer, more honest guy.

Just got back from my trip to Detroit. I missed Jeff by about 5 minutes but talked to Nick. They sure do have alot of multicade cabinets. Alot of pinball. Nice ones too. They got techs working on alot of pinball games. Nick invited me to stay longer and play a few games but it was a fairly warm day so I couldn't stay long as I had Maggie out in the truck. They even asked me to bring her in. Had an enjoyable time there and Nick gave me the full tour. But I guess their warehouse is like, 45 minutes away so I didn't get a chance to pick through some older stuff. But both Jeff and Nick were very friendly.
Nick is very familiar with Dptwiz and Rich's awesome works and is very much in touch with the hobby.

They sell the shit out of Multi's too. The classics just don't bring the kind of money they used to for the retail guys. Jeff and Nick are top notch dudes, known them for a couple years now. I saw that ST cab a couple weeks ago.
