Anyone else still into NES?

Parpunk! I somehow had no clue you were a member here also.

Here's an old picture I had on my phone. NES is my primary console of choice. The games weren't so much about the graphics back then, so you had to make a solid title, and there are plenty of solid titles in the NES library.

I've got about 200 or so Nes games.. alot of good titles. I'd say my rarest is a loose but super clean copy of Little Samson.

I have all the Tengen games, and I love the games by companies that weren't authorized. Cam America and the others.. even the bible games..

My real love is Atari and Sega carts.. I have over 400 Genesis games all complete with box & manual.. 40ft of shelving. Just for Sega.

I like playing Arkanoid with the Vaus controller. I also still love playing Wizards and Warriors and Karnov on the NES.

Arkanoid was sold only with the controller new, back in the day.

But yeah, it's alot of fun. Arkanoid II came out in Japan, not here unfortunately

it's sad that the game Arkanoid is very common, where the controller is such an uncommon thing. Wonder what happened to all of them.

I ate them.

Seriously though, I wish I had one of the controllers :/

I typically see them going for $30-40 alone... I was lucky enough to pick up an auction for a lot of various controllers for about $40 after shipping that had one in it, as well as an NES advantage (common as dirt) a few other controllers and a few games as well.

I know one guy who owns a shop up north (kirland, I believe) that has one hanging on his wall, don't know how much he wants for it, though

They are neat, and as soon as I got mine, (the sole purpose I bid on that auction) I hooked it up and began playing... improved my game too, now I can get several levels deep, instead of dying a lot on the first few

Those are some crazy collections of games...WOW. I recently got a NES system with a few games for $20 at a yard sale. Then recently got what looks to be two diff SMB/DH carts. I love playing the old games in this form. Its funny as like arcades, the more i get into the NES the more questions I have...

I go through phases with my NES games. Megaman 2 and 3 had my attention for awhile, then the Castlevania games. Currently I'm riding the Bart vs. The Space Mutants/World bandwagon. Now I'm tempted to track down the old Nintendo Power posters for my gameroom...
