Anyone Else Get The Ram Controls XMAS Special Flyer Today?

I just opened up my email to see a 30-40% off flyer for RAM Controls. Yeah, that's gonna happen. Why don't you work on paying people back before discounting merch.

"This is the best deal all year, we are only going to take 70% of your money and not ship your product"

"Dear Melissa,

It is time again for the Ram Controls Winter Blowout Sale. If you have been waiting for a good time to stock up on parts for your classic arcade games, the time is now!

I received it as well. They must have my email address from when I keyed in the text for the Atari Flyers. After harassing them for three or four months, Adouchem finally sent me the wares promised for payment.

Funny, I just found the box the other day with all the crap still in it.

Yea I got it as well.. spam marked.

I wonder if in a month we are going to have a whole new crop
of victims.. The last 40% off sale was a big earner for them.

If course hardly anyone got the products.

I received the same e-mail. This scam needs to be stopped.

I'm still owed $3,000 and I've received nothing in return!!

I feel bad for those who will get scammed again. If anyone wants more information, I researched past criminal and civil actions and there's a history that is unreal!!

So disturbing, shocking, offensive, and sad.

I got it and a long crappy email discussion with the "new" owner.... again. This is like the third or fourth "new" owner with the same business acumen and BS excuses as to why they should not be liable for the money they stole. At least the FTC in Cali now has current proof RAM Controls is a "company" still doing business even though the last few addresses I have got for them have been bogus. Anyone have any pictures of "Dave", "Dennis", "Jim", or "Adam"...... I think I am missing one.

Yeah... I got the email too...

The guy has balls on him the size of an elephant's...

Ahh. That's the latest conman from a few months ago then.

Today is the first I've heard of him. It's always been Dennis, Adam, Dave, or someone else I can't remember, but any response has been rare to get. The Investigator in Cali cant even get a response from them.

The RAM thing happened before my time here, but I have read most of the threads regarding their exploits.

I don't understand how they can still be up and running and soliciting business with so many suits against them. Do the consumer laws in CA just totally suck or is it that they just layered the business enough that it is taking forever to sort through?

When I got this email I was appalled that they would be actively soliciting new customers/clients with so many folks still waiting on back orders.

LOL Jim Bloomquist is the new owner!
who in his first post-IIRC stated (paraphrazing)
Theres a new sherrif in town and there wont be any more crazy blowout sales like Dave did before.

I cant believe its still buisness as usaual and I didnt get that email :(

I've not been involved, but from where I'm sitting it appears that most of the individual transgressions are relatively lowball stuff (hundreds or less) with only a few reaching into the thousands. In total it seems to be a lot of money, but done little by little, which makes it harder to see the scale of the problem, harder for individuals to do anything in civil court, and harder to interest law enforcement in pursuing the matter (it's a lot of work to prosecute, for a relatively low profile bust). They also seem to give some stuff to a few older victims every so often, which probably makes it that much harder to see the scope of the thing.
