So my space invaders sells on ebay. One bid $199 bucks to a zero feedback bidder 700 miles away. This person has been bidding on arcade related items and very well may be legit,i'm just skeptical. They have won numerous auctions for machines located throughout the country.A bid was placed on a machine today showing me they have logged on to their account, yet no contact has been made to me via email or ebay messages.I'm not saying it's a bogus account or someone playing games as i don't know that yet. It's just one of those things that makes me go hmmmmmmmmmm.

I would say the account is fake, over a week and no contact from them.Yet they keep bidding on and winning auctions, over $4000.00 worth in 3 weeks.Still no feedback left for them, but they did leave a nice neg for one of the sellers.I filed a non paying bidder dispute with ebay to see if i can reclaim my sellers fees.
In any case,i would block this bidder people,it will save you a headache.

Ok this is finally over.I filed the non paying bidder claim, waited 7 days and closed the claim.Ebay refunded my seller fees and allowed me to relist.Seeing as they left a neg for another seller who probably pushed harder for payment,my emails were nice, just asking them to contact me with their intentions. They didn't reply to me or reply to ebays non paying bidder messages, yet they keep bidding on stuff.
Ebay is a crock,i adjusted my bidder settings as strong as they can go and this only blocks buyers with a -1 or worse rating . how silly is that.As a buyer they can only recieve pos feedback,so to achieve a -1 they would have to be a bad seller.I added this bidder to my blocked list, but i am still open to another fake zero feedback account bidding on my stuff. Not all zeros are fakes,i have dealt with some over the years and i just usually have to hold their hand as they get payment sent and such. But this has got me wanting to block em lol.
Anyways, just thought i'd update the thread.

I remember once seeing something on ebay that said if you have less than "this many" (forget number) you must contact me (seller) before bidding. I guess that can actually stop someone but I got the idea. E-bay is tough. Considering all the contacts available here, why not just use CL or KLOV? No fees etc.

Much larger audience on Ebay. = higher selling price.

Its a chance you take when you use E-bay. Just as when you buy, you take the chance that the seller won't send you your stuff.

I recently sold my Donkey Kong. I live in NE. When I saw that the buyer was from MN, I wasn't holding my breath that he would actually come pick it up. It was a 12 hour round trip but he did it. I was pleasantly surprised. He was in an especially good mood for someone that just drove 6 hours and had 6 more to go. His wife was less than amused but the deal got done. You never know.
