Anyone covert an LPC Seeburg to IPOD? It seems that there is a 3WA wallbox adapter to iPod, but will that work with an LPC? I would use a newer amp, dump everything in it and just use the buttons to select. Thoughts?

kinda, but no touch screen. I was wondering if there was a way to use the juke buttons to interface with the iPod.

Nobody is doing that as far as I am aware.

It would have to be a custom / one-off if they did.

Jukeboxes are designed to generate income. What you are describing would be for home use only. It would require programming both by the Juke Box manufacturer and the phone system.

I'm not saying it will never happen. I am saying I don't see it as probable anytime in the near future based on marketing, R&D costs, and the potential profit center that it would generate (very limited).

So I have seen that there is a kit for the 3WA wall box to get it to interface with an iPod. The 3WA has numbers 0-9 and letters A-V. The LPC480 that I have has the same combo. I assume you just need a way to get the buttons on the LPC480 to act the same way as the 3WA does.

I know this is an old post, but I thought I would mention that there are boards available from datasync to convert most wallboxes to MP3. I also have been doing this - one off - for decades for family gifts but recently started to sell on Ebay as well (search wallbox -MP3 ) The difference with me is that I have the wallboxes as well, and guarantee the whole thing works as the wallboxes themselves often have little issues. I will also sell directly if you want to save Ebay fees.
