Anyone bought a NINTENDO DSI XL yet??

I was gonna buy one right when they came out until I saw the shitty colors. I already have a phat, two lites, and a DSi, but I would like an XL. I'll wait a little longer for better colors, but if nothing comes out soon I'll probably just get the burgundy one.

I don't have one but have held one. The screens are each abou the size of the PSP screen now. It's pretty big.

I'm in the same boat...

I'll wait for better colors... Burgendy and Slate... OOOOh...

I think they were going for a "Mature" DSi... maybe they will do a snake skin next

i was thinking that bronze xl looks kinda cool. im with you guys too..... the maroon is just BLAH BLAH.....

The "burgundy" is actually not that bad. It actually looks kind of purple. The "bronze" just looks brown. I want hot pink or lime green or a decent purple.

What games do you enjoy playing? I haven't found any games that I could reaallly get into on the DS

nintendo should have put the gba slot back in it. then I would consider buying one. I consider the dsi a crippled version of the ds, no matter what else it has.

are there comparison photos of the dsixl and the dsphat?

I probably only have about 50 DS games, but off of the top of my head here are some good ones: Partners in Time, Bowser's Inside Story, New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart, Super Princess Peach, Scribbelnauts, Professor Layton, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, Dark Spire, Tingle's Balloon Fight, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, Clubhouse Games, CrossworDS, Tetris, etc.

I don't really care about the GBA slot at all. I can play those games on a SP or Micro or one of my other DSs. I usually just play GBA games on my Gamecube actually.

There are photos comparing the XL with the lite and DSi but I don't think I've seen one comparing it to a phat.

'Only' 50 games :D I've 'only' got 18!

And exactly WHY is Hotel Dusk NOT on that list. Come on now. Other than that, I can agree that list for the most part. I could ad to it, but I think that's a good start.

Just counted mine, I've only got about 80.

I'm playing Hotel Dusk right now, and I have to be honest, I'm struggling to stay motivated with this one :/ It's good, I just wish the dialog was better and that it would move faster. I spend a lot of time impatiently tapping the screen waiting for things to happen.

Calm down man. My list was not meant to be exhaustive. Just a few games I recalled liking off the top of my tiny shriveled brain. I actually never got around to getting Hotel Dusk. That's a game I will grab on a whim off a clearance rack at Target or Walmart someday.

It's already come and gone through most of the Targets and WalMarts down here. Though I do seem to recall seeing it at one of the newer Targets not too long ago, so I guess there are still copies on shelves here and there. Still waiting for the sequel...

I don't know you.

Haha. Just kidding. PErsoanlly, I just love games like this. I enjoyed Trace Memory, too, even though it more of a kiddie game and can easily be beaten in an evening. Then again, so can Hotel Dusk.

I actually have that game Trace Memory. I bought that and Scurge Hive or whatever it's called cheap and I have yet to play either one. I've still gotta start WarioWare DIY too.

I like trace memory too. Hotel Dusk was good, but a little slow (not as slow as the Ace Attorney games though). I'd add the Castlevania games to that starter list.

Oh, and I have ~70 DS games.
