I have at least 10 4600 chassis/tube sets and am considering capping and repairing them all. Would anyone want to buy them when I'm done?

4600s are great. when they work.

I need a multitude of cap kits for 4600s and 4900s from work. where are you getting yours? also are there other parts that need replacing like the G07 width coils?

They get a bad rap but really are a solid chassis when serviced and working right. Never seen a flyback go bad on one myself. I use em.

I have 5 or 6 myself so don't need any but they are def usable and someone might want them.

Currently I am getting them from arcadepartsandrepair.com since they sell only Nichicon kits. Good prices and quick service too. I went ahead and ordered all the transistors from Fry's just due to age. Figured if I'm gonna shotgun 'em, may as well use squirrel shot and hit everything. Ordered the following NTE parts: 94, 389, 376, 291, and 398, which covers the HOT, VR, and neckboard/other goodies. Even got filter caps.
