Anybody looking for a 19" amplifone tube and Yoke?

This has a small speck of phosfor burn in the center but it's very nice otherwise. I'll be keeping the mounting brackets and degaussing wire assembly but the yoke comes attached to the tube. This will not be real cheap.

Several of you have asked the same questions so here's a blanket answer to all of you. Yes this is a medium rez tube and the yoke/rings are factory attached.

I might be interested depending on the purity and convergance, any chance of getting a pic showing the white crosshatch?

Can you ship it?

Thanks
Jeff

So where are all of you with your smart-assed remarks about "auctions belong on eBay"?
Don't wanna piss Chris off in case he has something you want some day?
Sheesh.

I don't participate in the KLOV auctions, and I don't bitch about them either.
I do in fact need an Amplifone tube but I wouldn't buy from him anyway even if van wasn't giving me a smokin' deal on a NOS tube.

Just so we're all clear ladies, this was never posted in an auction format (refer to the initial post) it was sold to the first person that contacted me at the price I wanted for it, end of story.

Just to be clear, it wasn't really posted in ANY format. And without a price, guess what, it might as well be an auction because it came down to whoever had the best offer in a pm. And don't get me wrong, I don't care if people sell things auction style or via pm's or " pick a number between 1 and 100", it's you pretending that it's something entirely different that is annoying. If you had a set price that you were not ashamed of, why not just put it out there ? It just gets easier and easier to see right through you. I am sure the groupies will be along to defend you any minute.

Edit: For the record, I had zero interest in buying this and have zero need for it.

i list stuff sometimes without a price, mostly because i dont know its current value, i need to move it quick, and i dont need to squeeze every cent i can get out of it. So i rely on KLOV members to be somewhat fair, and name a reasonable price.

ArcRevival "Edit: For the record, I had zero interest in buying this and have zero need for it."

Then why are you even in this thread, except to "troll" which you never claim to do? I never dealt with Chris or you, but your holier than thou attitude, interupts tons of threads. Arent you busy getting ready to return for the rapture tomorrow?

Wrong again Dave and you're really trying to make this more complicated than it is so I'll make it real easy for you. Forum member Xyla was the first one to send me a pm, he asked what I wanted for it and I responded with my shipped price. After answering a couple more questions, he bought it. No other pm's were answered and there was no behind the scenes auction going on either. If anyone else needs further info just in case you think my story is bullshit, contact the buyer and he can even post our messages back and forth so it's all out there in the open.

Why didn't i post a price? Because I didn't feel like wading through pages of people whining at the cost. Anything amplifone related is getting hard to find and you're gonna pay a premium for it so what the fuck does it matter if i post a price or not?

Exactly. Unfortunately, people think a posted price is an invitation to crap all over the thread. I guess *not* posting a price is yet another invitation to crap all over a thread.

Once I posted a *price check* message (using the proper headers and etiquette), asking what something (valuable) was worth. I actually got crap from a certain member because I wouldn't sell it to him -- even though I never put it up for sale.

This is a hell of our own making.

I would say this statement may as well be directed at me since I have posted in a couple other links about not wanting to see auctions on KLOV. But you'll note that I asked the price since he seemed to have one in mind and I didn't see where he asked for offers or put a set amount of time he was taking them. Had he asked for offers, I'd probably have told him to keep the damn thing and stop turning the forum into Ebay. But since I didn't think that was what he was saying, I posted my question. Now, is that response "smart-assed" enough for you or should I try again.

No... not directed at anyone in particular.
If the "chastising people, questioning motives, squawking about what you dislike" shoe fits...
wear it.
It was a general "sharp stick in the eye" that was intended to incite some of the more hypocritcal folks to come out and play.
Nothing more.
