Does anybody know who had the warehouses the pickers went through on tonight's show? I would love to check those places out and talk shop with those folks.

I didn't think the warehouses were that great. The first one, they said they were worried about the roof leaking and the Pong looked like it already had got wet. Nice of them to show the Pac-Man but too bad they didn't say anything about it. There were a lot of jukes in both places and the pins were cool. I was really surprised that they ignored the Playboy pin next to the Charlies Angels. It is just as collectible as that or the Ali that they were swooning over. The "appraiser" had some sweet pins. I have been to the Texas Pinball Festival that the guy organizes. Great show.

I agree on the Playboy, but I just figured you see the Playboy more often than the Ali and the Charlie's Angels. I'd also like to know if they bought more off camera. I'm sure they have friends that would be interested too, like the guy they called. Part of me suspects since they called him, they may have told him the location later or off-camera - he could have told other people. Part of me thinks it's probably already been gone through by now, but maybe I'm wrong and they don't want to give their buddies tips on where to make money. I'm sure connecting someone with these places could possibly get them a discount on labor for the pins they bought.

Im sure they buy a ton more than they show on tv. Like said, they probably hook up their buddies with the contact once they are done picking it.
You also need to realize these shows can be taped a year prior to the first time shown on tv.

That episode was shot at the end of march when the Texas Pinball festival was going on.

Personally I don't think they bought either machine. Didn't see them load anything. They didn't want the Playboy because they have no clue what they're doing. It's just a television show, they fly these guys out in planes, they meet the van there, film them driving around a little bit, then fly back home, lol.

I don't think they know what they're doing on any of the stuff, although the tall guy probably knows his stuff on motorcycles. Good for them though, I hope their show does great, it's a nice concept and they show some cool stuff on there.

I think their van is actually like the TARDIS. It is small fixed size on the outside but infinitely huge on the inside. They literally drove from one end of TX to the other buying stuff at every stop before they went back to Iowa.

They did at least take the hockey game cause it showed them loading it and taking it over to the TX Pinball Fest.

1,000 post!!!
Yeah, somebody could score some great games if they could figure out where that 2nd warehouse is. The people there said they wanted to sell more!
Saw a Defender, Gorf, Phoenix, Pac Man, Frogger and some fishing game.

The warehouses were definitely in Texas, but they bounced around so much, they could be anywhere. The first one had some interesting older pins and a few vids that should be taken out of that environment ASAP.

The second one had some great looking jukes that should be restored as well as some vids and pins that I would love to get my hands on.

I can't imagine it would be that hard to find them as they gave you names. the 2nd location they drove past a tall building with something surgar written on it. that should probably help you find the town.. They said it was south east texas.. They said they closed after the flooding so, probably coastal.

Looked like some good games. I was tempeted to pause it try to figure out what the weird cabinet was in the back (looked like an old driver with a thin top).

centuri challenger looked in good shape..

Two Scrambles, Polaris, "Devil Fish"?.....

The better warehouse was in Sugarland TX. Town can't be that big..if I lived close i would just drive to the town and ask around about the local vending guy that recently closed. someone will point you to them.

Sugarland is part of Houston and it's massive urban sprawl. That particular operator has been "going out business" for years. Both of those places have been cherry picked long ago.

Looks like they need some more pickin!!!

Chris Hassell is the guy from the TX Pinball Festival that appraised the Hockey Stanley Cup game. He said a friend of his bought the game from them before they left and that they kept trying to prompt him to up the appraisal value when they were discussing it, but he was trying to be honest without totally bursting their bubble.
