I'm thinking about going this year just so I can play some titles I haven't played in a long time, or havn't played before.

What's the deal on playing the machines? Are they all open to coin-op play, or do you have to enter the competition to play?

I will probably be going to PAPA.

I'm pretty sure they run PAPA in much the same way as they run Pinburgh - many games are set aside for tournament play (and clearly marked as such). The rest of the games are open to the public.

For Pinburgh, they had almost 200 games set aside for the tournament, which left more than 200 open to the public... plenty to keep you busy for a while.

Tokens are available to purchase - proceeds benefit the Humane Society - and most games are set on 2 tokens per play (some EMs might be 1 token).

Okay cool. Maybe I'll compete just to make sure I can play everything.
