Anybody good with Hantarex 900e 's? No Horizontal deflection
I'm working on a Hantarex 900e, it's not getting horizontal or vertical deflection (going into shutdown). I BELIEVE I've found an issue, the IC2 chip (Horizontal oscillator) is only getting 6 volts. B+ is at 150 and won't adjust... the 150 is present at the collector of the HOT, and the HOT tests good... now, on the schematics, it shows that the 12v is partially made by R94, a 6.8k resistor. I've got 150 on one side, and only 6 on the other side (which is feeding IC2, it's supposed to get 12v). The resistor tests good out of circuit. If you look at the schematics, IC4 is the 12v regulator IC, and it gets 19v on one side and rectifies that down to 12v on the other side. I don't have 19v at the input. So, tracking back, it's supposed to be whittled down through a series of resistors, and head back to C169, which connects to the B+ at the HOT. I've got 150 on one side of C169, but 0volts on the other side of C169. I replaced C169 and still have the same issue.
So does anybody understand how that circuit works a little better and can point me in the right direction? BTW I disabled the xray protection circuit and it still won't fire up, I think the B+ is high because the horizontal deflection is out.
Oh and also I've done a full cap kit already.
