If by chance any of you south Texas guys go to it, please keep an eye out for Pacman 25th aniv parts (specifically PCB), Simple Simon parts (specifically I/O board), or old Jamma boards/kits if they sell off misc boxes of stuff, or parts lots. Owner is retiring after 25 years in the business.

If you look at the games down there, they'll all be high-dollar items. Might be worth it to try to pick up boxes of parts or monitors, though....

So I take it that all the machines are going to be newer, expensive games? I really wouldnt have any reason to go if there arent any pre-1990 stuff there.

I may go as I need a 29inch monitor for a candy cabinet. Hopefully they'll have some.

I work on newer stuff now more than the older stuff. I am starting a route in January, and building brand new games in my offtime too. I'm kinda trapped in the latest stuff. If there is a low turnout at this auction, then there is gonna be a LOT of stuff going cheap. Even brand new stuff.

The stuff they want to go cheap will go cheap.

I know most of the parties involved in this auction and if they do not get the prices at auction a deal is already in place for all the useful stuff to be sold. You will be bidding against the owners and/or super auctions buyer on the valuable stuff in most cases. I wouldn't drive to far for this one as it will be a shillfest imo.

Well whoever does go, even if it is just local guys, please keep an eye out for the parts above. Those guys don't make the kinds of profits they want from parts, so those aren't shillbidded very much.
