Yep, another benchmark p.o.s. Good earning piece when it works (which is sometimes). Anyways, I'm down to (what I hope) is my last problem with this thing. Machine starts up fine, turntable spins, etc. the blue side continuously pays out tickets nonstop. I've swapped the mech, and that does not correct the problem. There's no way I can see to restore the factory defaults or clear the owed tickets (if there are any). I suppose it's possible that the one side owes 10,000,000 tickets, but I really don't feel like finding that out the hard way. Anybody have any ideas?

You can order a ticket emulator from benchmark that sends a signal back to the CPU that tickets are dispensing. That way if it does owe tickets they can be cleared using this method. I honestly don't remember a lot about this game as I haven't worked on one for at least 5-6 years. Otherwise if possible can you change wire harnesses between player stations at the CPU to make sure you don't have a CPU issue?

I've never touched a Claim Jumper but usually on the Benchmark games there is a way stop the jackpot win. Usually its something like hold the coin switch for 3 seconds or hold the start switch while powering up or hold the coin switch when powering it up. You can always give them a call and ask.

Yeah, I found it. There was a sticker on the machine somewhere. And, since someone ten years from now will ask this same question ( most likely me ), lets immortalize the answer on the Internet. When you power the machine on, BEFORE it starts to reset the turntable, press the "seed" button (do not hold in). That should clear any tickets owed on all stations. Thanks for the help though.

I've noticed a lot of Benchmark games get stuck in "infinite ticket mode".

Games I've seen this are Claim Jumper, Drill-O-Matic, Bubba's Excavation,
and Big Haul.

A little Claim Jumper side note:

If you turn on the game and the turntable spins once and stops, 9 times
out of 10 it's a stuck coin switch.
