I was at my step-sister's wedding last month and we stopped at a bar inbetween the ceremony and receptoin and I see this thing! It looks pretty cool. Didn't play it however.

Never seen one before, and I don't think my wife would be too happy if I told her I was going to a bar looking for a 'Quik Poke'!

I have one; bought it last spring from an operator/collector in Northern Michigan. It's called Quik Poke and it was made by Valley, of pool table fame (back when they were located in Bay City, MI). He bought it from a cottage owner, who had it since new, with a couple hundred plays on the meter.

Simple but addictive play: drop one quarter and up to four players have a set time (5 to 25 seconds, adjustable by the operator) to get the best poker hand. Players push their button to spin an enclosed disc, under the table top, scrambling five wooden dies with A, K, Q, J, 10, 9 on respective sides. When the disc stops, players quickly evaluate their hands, guessing if is it better than the others. Each can push their buttons again to try for a better hand, but sometimes getting worse. At 15 seconds, you can get up to three spins, if you need them.

Signage on top says "For Amusement Only", but it always gets used like a mechanized Liar's Poker; $1 per hand & the winner puts in the next quarter. Also, doubles as a high top bar table in my game room. Denny
