?? It's a safe bet there will be a full game released for this at some point (PSN, XBLA, Steam, or even arcade). With its clear homage/theft of Donkey Kong Nintendo cab shape and art it would be an easy "conversion" to do.

I've been trying to get it onto my MAME machine but the sneaky programmers found some clever way to make the flash swf file disappear from my Temporary Internet files folder. Too bad too, it is a heck of a lot of fun to play online.
(And no my MAME machine is not hooked up to the Internet so I can't play it that way)

Of course. Here's one built by a KLOVer:

Ohmigoshohmigoshohmigosh...

...are they going to use more ultra-rare DK cabinets?

Are they going to age the cabinet in a way that's not 100% authentic?

Am i the only one to point out that the Fit-it Felix cabinet in the movie or real life demo cabinet is a Pac-man/Galaga cabinet that is painted and stickered to look like a Nintendo cabinet?

Well, my question *was* valid. And the answers for the most part were good. Can't wait to see the results of this. The gameplay footage from the movie looks like it would work. The flash game online not so much.

Just coming back to this - the video here is a very good tutorial for a beginner on how to install a side decal. BITD when this was all in text on Usenet, I had someone explain this process to me and couldn't get my head around it 100% but in less than one minute this video clears it all up.

Really? I love the flash game. I just wish I could figure out how to get it on my MAME machine (as previously mentioned I don't have it hooked up to the internet and can't)

Thanks, I made this video for two reasons. One to show I have created Fix it Felix art and printed it. Two, that installing graphics is actually pretty simple once you know a few tricks.

I am almost done with 3 Fix it Felix control panels for this cab. I will post one or two of them later. Each control panel will be different button configurations and can be swapped out in a minute.

I still say you commission out your art work and have them screen printed. And sell the "Fix it Felix" as a kit. So is this code cracked yet ? Does hyperspin have a theme for it ?

donnei1979 from Hyperspin forums is creating a theme for it. It should be done soon if not already. Seen one guy to claim he has the game, but I havent seen it yet. Also heard the rumor that it will be released for the PC and consoles. Just playing the waiting game now. If it does get released for the PC then I might have This Old Game make me a screen printed version of the marquee and bezel just to be more authentic. Otherwise I am perfectly happy with my printed injet vinyl.

I would be careful if you plan to sell the artwork. Reproductions of 80s artwork may be so minimal that companies turn a blind eye, but I'd be a bit more hesitant with something like this. I don't think you want Disney coming after you.
