I just cleaned up and Novus'd the plexi marquee from the Galaga I'm restoring. It looks great, except when backlit, the white areas in the graphic appear very yellow. On the back, the area of the marquee that was exposed to the inside of the cab has yellowed compared to the edges that were hidden under the marquee holders.

Is there any way to get rid of this yellow and make it white again? I've tried scrubbing it with various cleaners (including bleach) and a magic eraser but nothing seems to work. Has anyone here found something that works?

I've used Novus 2 on the painted backside of a marquee to remove some yellowing. Just realize that it's thin to begin with and be careful not to 'burn through' the paint. Some yellowing can't be undone, but it's worth a try.

Thanks, I'll try Novus on the back of it. I guess I could try a high color temperature bulb for the marquee light to compensate too. If those don't work, I know where to buy a new one. ;)
