Any Video Tutorials on using a Scope for Arcade Repair?

The few that I have seen on YouTube have not really been all that helpful.

I've also done a bit of watching of "How not to blow up your scope", and was wondering how everyone is using their scopes for Arcade repair?

Are you running your PCB's through an ISO on your bench?

To do anything to fix boards you need to first be comfortable using you oscope itself. Try finding a good video on using your specific model and get comfortable first. Most oscope are basically the same but it can be overwhelming if you are not already comfortable. Once you feel comfortable with that then look for info on using them to fix boards. Until you have that base comfort level with your scope you'll just trip over yourself when you try to use it with a board. I think I watched some intri in oscope on you tube from some north west vintage tv collection group if I recall.

After that I recommend just probing around your board, look at steady signal like +5 then look at the video syncs and see if you can verify their frequency etc. then start looking at "asymmetric signals" like the ce lines on ram/rom and see if you can set triggers etc. once you have the basics the start looking fir arcade repair videos with or without oscope. Not sure I know if any videos where people actually show the oscope I terms of the repair but then again there's got to be some body that's done that.
