I came across one of these playing blind with a 19" K7203 monitor. The monitor was just super dim actually. Do you guys think that this is worth collecting/having or is afterburner better?

they also had this crazy TMNT redemption pachinko style machine

I've never seen one before... any thoughts?

The sit down G-LOC was neat, but play the game in MAME before you buy. Nowadays it just seems very repetitive and boring.

The TMNT game might be neat if you could find a collector with either one of the Konami TMNT machines and the TMNT pinball...they might want it. Pretty limited audience though.

If you value your space, I would pass on both.

We got one in a bulk buy that we have not even gone back to pick up, and that was 3 months ago. One reason it's the full cockpit so real heavy. The other would be they are just not that fun. That being said i do have a After Burner cockpit and love it.

G-Loc is good for the solid Dynamo cab, but the TMNT is odd and looks to be in rough shape.

I agree though. If someone owns the dedicated Konami and the pin, it would be a nice addition. I'm a TMNT fan, but that's a bit too much turtle power for my taste. :)

Is this the guy down near San Jose that has the office partition thing going on? I thought about going and taking a look at his stuff. What was the place like? Or am I totally off here?

It's not that that great of a game. I played an upright a few years ago. Gameplay gets boring kind of fast. I've played the deluxe version. They have one of those every year at the LA County Fair. It's sort of cool but the game just isn't that great.

It's a nice example but I'd pass. Yes, Afterburner is a better game. Sega Strike Fighter was a better game.

Lots of great stuff if you are into KOAM K3 Z cabs with dead monitors. They are all floor pulls from Nickle City. I worked with his wife when we were at Capcom.

Whatever JAMMA gems there are, I am probably getting dibs on am trying to work out a deal to try to get the lot of K7000 monitors tuned and working. Its not a RAID but is in a warehouse in fremont.

Just happen to have one of these in the shop at the moment to fix the monitor and the motion...
