Any think that Propcycle would be good for losing weight?

When they had this in the arcade I used to sweat like a pig playing. It was a lot of fun. A lot of times a pedal was broken off.

I found one on CL, but it is too far away. http://orlando.craigslist.org/bfs/1429049887.html

You'd certainly loose weight moving that beast!

There was one at CAL Extreme a few years back.. definitely an out of the ordinary game.

I swear there was one in the Syracuse area that someone was trying to sell. It was on CL for like $150. Maybe if you look around you can still find it.

I got one for free fully working, I'm keeping the monitor, come get it!!! It took up way too much room, and it never got played, definately not a keeper. It was fun for a very short time!

That's what I was going to say (well, not about having one) - I think a stationary bike and an oil painting would be more fun after about a month.

Lol, I can see that, but I played that game a lot and didn't tired of it.

Was that the only game that ran on that machine, namco made 2 alpine skier and surfer games.

Maybe there was a japan only propcycle 2? That could be loaded into it...

I would be happy with it. It's fun!

Ah, Propcycle! I'd love to get my hands on one... it's one of those machines about which I have a great arcade memory. Not exactly Ms. Pacman-ish in terms of how often you see these, though!

I saw a fully working Prop Cycle sell at the Winston-Salem auction last spring for $10.00, it is just a monster to move and try to handle.

Probably get the most excercise fixing the damn thing..

Every time I saw this in the arcade, it was broken.... Especially after I rode it.

I have one now!

Thanks to fellow KLOVer Jason (chas010) I now have a propcycle! I still need to reassemble it, suprizingly I was able to fir it through my 31" wide basement door without any problems!

What suprised me was that the monitor is a Mitsubishi 41" CRT Projection TV! You can even watch TV on it!

Here it is out of the cabinet:

I posted more photos and a video on my blog.

Nice! That's a great game IMHO. Not sure about the long-term playvalue, but in the arcades it was one of the few I would play at the time. I considered it to be one of the more creative titles of that time.

Hi Tighe,
It was nice meeting you and your father this weekend. Im glad you got it home and were able to get it down in your basement, that was the biggest hurdle I could see.

If that Jurrasic park is still available im going to have to make plans to come buy that if I could :D

It was awesome seeing all the games you picked up! I can't wait to see your arcade, it will be awesome! I will come and visit again when you open up for business!

I will see if I can set up some time this week to take some new photos, you have first dibs on the Jurassic Park!
