Got my Space Fury up and running but I cant get the sound board and the speech board to work at the same time. If I just hook up the sound board with the loop plug on the speech plug the sounds work great but then when I remove the loop plug and plug it into the speech board All I get is speech with no sounds form the sound board. Its as though the speech board cancels out the sound board. My wiring looks right according to the schematic....Thanks in advance.....Dave....I love the voice by the way in Space Fury :)

Make sure your sound wiring matches this doc:

http://www.coinop.org/kb_dl.aspx/KB/gametech/spacefury.txt

Next, there is a small volume dial on the speechboard (you'll need to adjust with a small flathead screw driver); see if adjusting that brings back any volume. Otherwise, the sound that passes through from your sound board through your speech board might have a bad chip in that circuit (U12, U11 being possible culprits).

Thankyou I'll check that out.Allthough the pinout for the speech board is alittle wierd check out this link on page11 and see what your opinion is.

your coin op org schematic for the speech plug states pin 1 is in and pin3 out to volume pot. but look on the schematic on my link it shows pin 1 actually going to pin 5 on the speech board and pin 3 is correct going out to the volume.I have mine currently hooked up per this schematic take a look if you will and see if you think I have mine right. If I'm wrong i need to change the wire fron pin 5 to pin 1.Also if anyone else who is good at reading diagrams can I get your opinion...Thankyou...Dave

It works I just said lets go smoke it or it works and I went with Mjenison's pinout he sent me and now it plays 100%. Just a note to everyone that is the correct pinout I researched it on the internet today and found 3 different pinouts. Thanks MJenison its a blast to finally play it the way it should be.

Well you asked for the expert.... MJenison is pretty much the top guy on Sega Vector stuff for the last 10 years or so. He has given me lots of great advice. He also builds a mean rotating JAMMA cabinet!;)
