Any RoadBlaster's cockpit owners? I need some help...

I may be looking at getting one of these bad boys shipped. I really need to know the weight & measurements. Flyer is listing the shipping weight at 900 lbs. or so but I'm thinking that can't be right.

Also need to know if a boardset from an upright would work in this. I'm guessing so but want to be sure.

That is probably the crated weight.

Still seems off. No matter, I got the quotes I needed.

Do the cockpits use the same hardware as the System 1 uprights? I'm looking at buying a daughter board.

While I've not owned one I'm pretty sure I've seen pics of these boards and I don't believe they are the same. Pretty sure they are specific to the cockpit and are set up in a set somewhat like an MCR board set is stacked.

I have one. I'm 99% sure its different from the upright. I'll get some pics or video for you. Also the weight is nowhere near 900. It doesn't seem too different than most uprights I've moved. It is a beast in size though.

My Starwars cockpit was shipped few weeks ago for about 450. With insurance. It weighed in at. 470lbs. That includes pallet and wrap

it's big alright, but I don't think 900 lbs is accurate. i held one end up by myself when we took it off the truck (other end had lift gate). It had wheels on the end for rolling. Didn't look closely at the boardset, as the problems i was dealing with involved the monitor and yoke assembly...

Not the same PCB.

The cockpit is a very different animal from the upright and all other System 1 games in general. Even the sound and power boards are different.
