Wow! Glad to hear he is alive. Here is hoping for a speedy recovery. He is missed here. I know you have a lot on your plate as well and hope you are able to manage. If there is something the forum can do to help let us know.
 
Letter To All From John...

Dear Basement Arcade Grafx Customers & Friends,

I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the recent issues in the filling of orders that have been paid for, and the lack of response to your order requests.

My wife Deborah sent out an email to most of you but it appears not everyone was contacted directly. I am sending out this "generic" email due to the number of you that I need to contact.

If you did not receive her email or read her posting on the forum, in short my daughter and I were in a car accident. My daughter returned home a couple of weeks ago and I just returned home from the hospital late last week.

As it stands right now, I will be unable to return to the printing business for another 3 weeks.
This unfortunately means that any unfilled orders will not be completed any earlier than August 9th.

Some of you have already requested a refund on your order. You will be receiving your refund via PayPal by the end of this week. And again, I offer my sincerest apologies to you.

For those of you who have not requested a refund as yet, because of the timing to fill these orders if you would prefer a refund, you will also receive your refund by the end of this week.

For those of you that have an outstanding order and are willing to wait the additional time to have it completed, I will refund you 40% of your purchase price when your order is printed and mailed out.

I would also like to offer a 30% discount off of any future print order to any customer who requested or requests a refund.

If you have requested a quote for a print order via either email or forum posting, I will be contacting you directly over the next couple of days.
If you contacted me via the forum and are reading this and wish to contact me, please do.
Any order that is placed between now and August 9th will receive 20% off of printing.

I again want to offer my sincerest apologies to everyone who has been inconvenienced by this.
I also want to send out a sincere Thank You to those who have sent their Well Wishes.
I have made many friends, not just customers, these past 8 months or so and I hope that I am able earn back/keep the trust that you have shown me.
I will, as always, do what is necessary to keep/make my customers happy with my products and services.
Any responses to this email/posting will be responded to promptly!

Just happy to hear that you and your daughter are OK and doing better. Just do what you can to get back in the swing of things, I feel that most people will understand why you fell behind in your work. When you are at 100% just let me know and I will put in the order that I need. But until that time hits.....you take it easy and go at your own pace. For the quality of work you offer and the prices that you give, I will wait in line for what I need.

All the well wishes we've received has been very gratifying/humbling/touching, I can't even think of the right way to say how much it has meant to us.

I would also like to publicly say thank you to my customers who have outstanding orders.
You have been so incredibly understanding and gracious.
Most of you have said you are more than willing to wait for me to return to work and for your orders to be completed.
AND, most have refused my offer of a 40% refund on your order.
I really don't know what to say other than Thank You.
I'm very lucky to have the customers and friends that I do here.

My wife Deborah also asked me to send you her thanks for the well wishes.
And my 14 year old daughter Haley says "Hey Dudes - Thanks!". (Teenagers!)

Everyone,

I have finally made it back.
I wish to express my sincere thanks to everyone for the well wishes and patience.
I am catching up on orders now (few more to go).
All outstanding orders will be in the mail before the end of the week.

I still have quite a few emails to respond to, so if you have not received a response yet you will shortly.
