Hey guys,
Just wondering if there would be any interest in reproduction acrylic light housings like the ones Phoenix Arcade does to replace those old faded ones. I got a set for my Tron and it is SOOOOO worth the money...and my DOT will look like crap next to it. I know that Rich has side art and looks like he'd do CPOs if someone can get him a good scan of it. I'd be happy to front some cash if it seems reasonable to get this project going.

Since I wasnt having any luck on the DOT cpos Ive allready moved forward on the light covers and will be doing both versions silkscreened black light flouresent inks on 1/8" formed acyrlic. Hope to have these avaialble in the next month.
as the art is finished and my flouresent inks are on order.

Still on the hunt for a DOT cpo
the ones that have been on ebay as NOS have been for the Enviro
and theres been almost 10 up on the bay this past year so Im less inclined to do this version over the reg upright.

Hot damn...well alright then. Now we just need to find someone with the CPO! In any case, put me down for the acryllics.

Put me down for a set of plastics too. Can always make the game look even better! :D

I've been looking for a CPO. Will let you know...

yes, please put me down for one of the edot light covers.

they look great rich. def looking forward to these :)

seems like EVERY one of these dot/edot plastics is always faded out badly. chris

amen rich!!! Hey will you also do the glass bezel with the same graphics that is on the marquee class??? it looks exact just on a bigger piece of glass.. i wouldnt mind a nice piece of plexi as long as its the bezel!!!!!

im talking about the uprights bezel not the edot one
any thoughts???

I started to read this post - and was about to reply - I sent Rich my light cover for repro purposes - but then Rich did chime in - so I guess that cats out of the bag already...

Thanks for helping out the cause. I don't even have my DOT yet...paying for it now and will pick it up in March, but I want everything to be ready to go when it gets here!

I wont need to do preorders on these but would like to know how many to run
so PLEASE chime in, send a PM or email at [email protected]
as Ill only be running these once,
pricing will be in the PhoenixArcade/Tron range on same piece

So right now Im at
EDOT-2
DOT-5

These pieces are almost identcial with the exception of the Black and Purple
so Ill be able to run them basically at the same time to save on setups

FYI: Some may think the center arrows are orange they are not
they are faded Pink

I will definitely buy an upright light cover, and would love a repro'd CPO if they ever became availalbe.

I did the poor man's "highlighter" fix on mine, and it looks okay, but it doesn't hold up to the Phoenix plastics on the regular Tron.

Huge thanks yet again to Rich for taking this on.

EDOT plastic

I'm in for one. Rich, I sent you a PM as well - I seek this plastic and a floor decal for my EDOT. For those interested, I made a repro backlit scenery which Rich is printing at some point. He's been poking away at it for awhile to get it just right. The original is thick and double sided and this is proving tricky to reproduce. With luck it will be more vibrant than the original. Who else wants these?
