Any interest in an NBA Jam Tournament Edition CPO?

What the hell was that molested file anyway? When I first did this, some people downloaded it, and then a few months later there was all of this talk about altering it, etc. because it didn't fit. I'm just guessing the button positions were different?

My TE has the joysticks and buttons in slightly different positions than stock. Not sure how or why. The options I had to replace the CPO was to use the generic orange CPO and place the square stickers of the jump, pass, turbo or to bondo the holes and redrill to the stock placement. I created a third option.

I took the scan and:
-cloned out the holes and button icons
-added bleed to the outside of the CPO
-traced the button icons and made into vector images
-placed the adjusted scan in Illustrator and placed the icons on a separate layer

I printed out on regular paper and adjusted the placement of the icons until they were in the position I needed.

This file will give a person a lot of flexibility to open in Illustrator and to move the icons if needed.

Seeing how good the te cpo and side art look and the potential that somebody will make these is making me now look for an nba jam cab. So I can one day turn it into a te cab. Hopefully it will all come together at the same time and thank you to all the people putting in the effort to make this happen!

K I got a guy I think can print it out ....but he wants to know if it is vector ???? I don't know what that means maybe Jedi can u answer that ???

No it's not but it shouldn't matter because the file does appear to not have been touched at all. Meaning it's a raw file of the scan and hasn't been compressed or resized at all.

I hope this doesn't come off greedy I'm really not trying to siound that way ...but Jedi what r the odds that u post a link for the same org te side art since no one has it ??? No pressure juss woundering if it's a possibility??

I have scanned the full side art and have been working on it when I have time. I also have a guy that is gonna help me restore it. It will get done soon.... Be patient

Keep it up ozz. We all appreciate the contribution, and patience is not a problem. This thread makes me very happy. :)
Take care buddy.

I'm no lamination expert, so I can't say for sure. It's not a glossy finish. It also wasn't as stuff as Tron or Discs of Tron. I'd say that is has sort of matte finish that is sort of sparkly at an angle and has a consistency along the lines of 720s cpos...maybe a slightly rougher texture.

I'll buy this glossy one pictured from you if its sized to fit the original panel and you want to sell it?

That picture is just solvent printed on glossy adhesive vinyl. It needs lamination next to be able to install on your cp. It is sized to the original nos cpo that Derek has. He emailed exact dimensions. When you scan something most times the actual sizing is not accurate.

And just so everyone knows, even on my original machine, the holes are ever so slightly off. I'm perfectly aligned on the left side of my machine, but by the last hole on the right side, the CPO is off by about a mm with a bit of the metal showing through. It's just the imprecise nature of these things. I've never had a CPO perfectly cover everything.
