I'm finishing up this one and having a hard time pricing this one for some reason. If anyone is interested PM me an offer. I usually dont do the offer thing, but on certain items I have to unless I throw it on Ebay which I 'm not trying to do. Here is the scoop.

Cabinet has been sanded down to the the bare wood then repainted
NOS control panel overlay installed
NOS Buttons
Rebuilt Joystick
Gottlieb raised coin door installed
Repro plexi bezel (used, but in good condition)
Choice of a regular Qbert marquee or a Qbert swearing marquee
Repro sideart from Arcade Renovations
New T-Molding
Rebuilt Power supply board
Rebuilt transformer block
Knocked installed & working
Reworked wiring to bypass the need for the notorious problematic filter board
Choice of a burn free monitor that I can't get the color right at the bottom with my degausser. this was a tube swap on an original 4900 chassis or an original 4900 Qbert monitor with little Qbert burn. Can realyy see the burn through the tinted glass

If your going send me an offer please keep in mind the time I put into it which was a lot and double work on getting it painted.

*Trades / Partial Trades consider*

Nice Mad Planels
Super Bagman
Nice Star Castle

$750 really? Wow that's would be a great deal for someone. I sell really Qberts for around this price. This is way better than any other Qbert I had. I really didn't have a price, but I know this will not be sold for $750. I know this is not a big cost difference, but a NOS control panel overlay is so much better than the repros. I didn't think it was until I compared the two. NOS makes repros feel like inkjets on this overlay.

I said at least $750 but I wouldn't sell my restored Q*bert for under $1000 (probably more). Such a PITA to restore one of these because the shit wood they used! Contact Chris12345 because he just sold his restored one and can give a better idea.

This is good to know.

I sent a PM, but I understand where the pricing is now it's a little too rich for me. :)

For the record a very nice one but with board problems went here in my area for $850 on Ebay. I was second bidder but someone did a higher snipe bid :)

FYI, I sent a PM on this yesterday morning. I saw another thread where somebody else's PM didn't go through. Looks great, by the way.

Man and I thought $250 was steep for mine. In the very least this thread makes me feel like I got a deal on something for once.

But I agree with the 1000-1250 range. Honestly after acquisition cost, materials, and time, even at that price the profit is barely worth it.

This Qbert machine has been sold. Sorry for not getting any PMs answered yesterday. I did receive everyones offers, but didn't get a chance to really respond to anyone. I was out of town the whole day and didn't get back until about 2am. I spoke with the person on the phone who bought this and it has been paid for already. I have one more to do, but not sure when that will be done right now.
