I found a super clean dedicated one of these for a killer price and have been on the fence about it for over a week. I used to have the game for the NES as a kid and we played it a good bit. From what I remember the Nintendo version was allot better. My issue is I feel like I may end up replacing soon after purchase for something better but at the same time it's hard to come by such a clean Dynamo cabinet let alone dedicated. The other upside is that I could always turn it into a multi Jamma which I have wanted to build for a long time anyway. What are you guys thoughts on the game and if you got rid of yours would you own it again down the road?

Buy it for a good price and keep it. This is one of those games I was the most bummed about not having on the top 50 list. It's an awesome game. The rotatable joysticks made it far superior to the NES version IMO (beyond obvious graphics and sound). You could try to run Ikari or Heavy Barrel in there if you get bored with it (as they both use the same sticks).

Good price on one $250. Too much would be $300. A steal would be $125.

This game always seems to be for sale on the local CLs around here. They don't seem to go away once they get on there. I would think $150 tops would be a good price.

Yup. My buddy and I grabbed ours for $120 plus a couple star wars toys. If I had to have it, and it was in really nice minty condition I could see some guy coughing up to $250 for it, but no more.

Went and looked at it one more time before deciding today and bought it. lol Once there I couldn't resist,it's just so clean!!!

I was restoring one, but I'm on the fence between making it a GW or a Victory Road. I kind of like Victory Road's theme/art a bit more. In either case, fun game. It makes for an interesting conversation piece considering it's Che Guevara and Fidel Castro as the heroes.

I bought a Guerrilla War for $100 in perfect working order. After about a week or so of playing it, I sold it to another guy who wanted one. I just got board with it because it was so easy to beat. Just keep coining up (like most Jammas) and you beat it! For me, it wasn't worth the space for something I had beaten so easily.

It's only downfall, yes. It is a game (IMO) which should be in a lineup of several others and not a stand alone game. It is perfect for parties. Some people will play classics, some want drivers, some want shooters, but others get a kick out of the military theme, guns, tanks, and of course...the whole Cuba element.

I have 2 Guerilla War machines. one is now a Multi and the second is a dedicated original.. wouldn't even think of tearing the second apart.. in the future I'll grab an Ikari and Heavy Barrel pcb to swap when bored.. anyway, one is nicer than the other and I paid $100 each..

I'm a big fan of Victory Road. It's such a cool combination of fantasy with military. Played it to death in the local arcade back in the day with my best friend. Friend lives in another state now, and last time he was visiting with his son, he loved the basement and all the games. The only regret/request? A Victory Road machine where we could co-op it to the end.

I'd ultimately like to get a multi-machine with rotary sticks that plays Ikari Warriors, Victory Road, Guerrilla War, and the like.

I'm a GW (PCB) owner, but not a fan.

I have an Ikari Warriors cabinet, and about half a dozen LS-30 stick PCBs. The only ones I actually enjoy playing much are IW & Victory road.
