I'm kind of sick to my stomach, I purchased artwork from a vendor, (waited a while to get it.)

I put it on and noticed it didn't want to go on as easy as some of the stuff I got from gameongraphix...it felt totally different. (I like gameongraphix BTW). This stuff was more stiff and very easy to get bubbles under.

It's been a few weeks and I noticed the a clear layer popping up around the screws and bolts. And also from underneath the bend it was peeling clear away.

Wasn't sure what this was, so I thought maybe it was a clear layer I needed to remove. Started pulling it and end up ripping the art in the process.

I'm aggravated with myself and this artwork. I'm not sure if I basically picked at a scab or this was a protective clear layer was supposed to be removed prior to installation.

Having said all this is there a vendor online that sells this artwork, with fast shipping?

I would prefer not to mention where I got this from yet as I am waiting to hear back and see if they would honor the lifting under their no crack guarantee. Plus I don't like bashing folks.

holy crap, that's pretty rough. I def didn't get it from that guy...but it makes sense this was delaminating.

So I guess that layer is supposed to be on there?

I built two cabarets one one was a multicade art from gameongraphix and this one

The gameongraphix art went on smooth like butter with no air bubbles, I was super impressed with how it looked and felt

This one was kind of hard to apply and didn't like being bent on the curves, def different stuff

The heavy duty good quality laminated stuff is harder to apply and doesn't like to bend. It looks like maybe you used heat to bend it around the corner and if you do that wrong it will warp/de-laminate/crack etc. What you're picking at and peeling off looks like the laminate layer, which does belong there.

Nope, no heat was applied to this at all...I did this as a cold wrap

OK...so it delaminated a little, and I am guilty of pulling on it...guess I will chalk it up as a loss and lesson learned

Now I gotta start shopping around for something else

No heat? Yikes. Funny the first one I did like that on a cabaret cracked too. I just haven't replaced it yet.

Yeah I was afraid to use heat lol

Got a reply from the seller, they are sending me out another one..Even after I admitted to tugging on the bottom after I noticed it coming apart.

That is super awesome and stand up of them to do...A+ to them

I sell fiberglass speaker kick panels for old camaros, and had a customer cut one too much trying to install it and had a gaping hole...they contacted me and wanted to buy just that one side. I told them no problem and sent then a replacement at no cost. So I feel this is karma paying me back lol.

I've been very happy with the replacement from thisoldgame.com:

Granted cabaret, but they sell upright too.

Inkjet done right isn't crap, it can be virtually indistinguishable from screened pieces. And for a lot of art it's the only option.

Rep'd. Our shop ditched our screen print setup a few years ago, when the quality of new solvent/UV printers made prints that you had to compare through a loupe.
