Hey all,

New poster here. I'm in Detroit this week for work and was curious if anyone knew of any good local spots for some games?

Thanks!

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum in West Bloomfield at 14 Mile and Orchard Lake.

Or there's Pinball Pete's in Ann Arbor, not sure of the cross roads as I have only been there one time.

Looks like the address from google is:
1214 S University Ave Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104 - (734) 213-2502

I would definitely hit Marvin's as there is some really crazy one of a kind and old stuff in there. Pinball Pete's is awesome too with about 15-20 pins and a row of classics.

I forgot about Tilt Town which just opened in Novi.

This is more of a members only type place, and I haven't joined yet, so I can give no feedback on it, but according to the website out of towners can get in for $10 and all the games are set to free play! Apparently this is off of 9 Mile and Novi rd in an unmarked industrial building, so I would definitely contact them before you go looking for that one.

Hope this gives you a good start.

Butterfly Arcade on VanDyke (I think it is called the Van Dyke Sport Center now).

Wherein Detroit are you staying? What do you like to play?

arcade in Detroit

Butterfly is good, they have some new games and some older games, alot of cool pins.

VanDyke between 13 and 14 mile rd. West side of VanDyke

Thanks

Thank you all for the replies. I may check out Butterfly tonight if they're open.

Marvins looks pretty crazy. I checked out the current games they have on the site and nothing that interesting to me.

I'm into classics and then pretty much up to Mortal Kombat. I'm staying downtown at the Doubletree. I'm only about 15 miles away from Warren.

Thank you all!

Damn it! I didn't finish work until 8:30 tonight so didn't get a chance to check out anything! Thank you for the recommendation on Slows, Sparty. Walked in there and there was a massive crowd and line! Couldn't even sit at the bar :-( just ended up heading to Fishbones in Greektown.

Thanks!

Tilt town looks insane if you are into pins! I am more into vids, but it looks like they have a bunch of sweet old EM stuff in there too. Definitely worth checking out sometime (I guess I could use the "once a year $10 pass". Looks pretty sweet though.

Ya I really need to make it over to Tilt Town one of these days. It's only about 3 miles from my work, so it's in an awesome location for me. I figured I would throw it out there, as there's a few local KLOV'rs who are into the pins too.

Tilt town

If anyone decides to do a trip over to Tilt Town be sure to post it, I would love to check that place out. It's not that far, 45minutes. I could dig playing some EM games and just checking it out. Seems really nice from pics. Worth the 100.00 per year? Maybe? Worth checking it out for 10.00 YES

Perhaps we could get a group gig going?

I would love to head out that way and might as well do it with a group of KLOVrs lets see how much interest there is then set a date?
