(I hope I am posting this in the right section; I am still getting used to where things should go.)

Hey guys! As I said in my introduction post, I picked up a Pac-Man machine, and it is going to need some work. The main thing is a missing monitor. I was wondering if anyone knew places or people in Georgia that were good sources for parts and such? I have been looking at different sites to buy from, but I always like local places. Thank you.

Welcome to KLOV EBJ,I know there's quite a few KLOV members down in your area where you could probably get what you need. And if you post in the section I provided, you'll probabaly get better results. Start a new thread titled something like - "Pac-Man Help - XXXX, Georgia" and then list what you're looking for in that thread. Here's the section that would work best for you:

Good luck on your findings,

Lemme guess, you got it for $100 on CL? I think everyone saw that one :)

If you aren't tech savvy, I would definitely just have another KLOV'er come over and help you take a look at it. Usually, a Six Pack and some parts money is the golden standard. A new monitor would be insanely expensive if you could even find one, so I suggest you either have someone come over, or try and get a used monitor on the cheap... I know someone was just selling them for about $100 or so (plus shipping)

But, outside of that, welcome to the local scene, and message nocashvalue on here to get on the local mailing list. Think of it as one big happy family.

Thanks for the advice everyone. To be more exact, I am in the Marietta area.

Andy, yes. It was the $100 machine. I really don't have any idea what I am doing at the moment, so having a local KLOVer over for some advice would be great. I will look into setting that up.

GaGamer may be able to assist you depending on where your located. He has tons of stuff, and I can vouch as I have done business with him before.

Well, looks like you are my neighbor! There was this really cool guy I sold my Make Trax to that is local to Marietta as well.

Dude, I hate you. I was second on the list for the "Porcupine Crack House Pac-Man". You suck.

Okay, (mostly) kidding.

I'd call David Countryman. He's the go-to guy for all things arcade in the ATL, check http://davesarcade.com . I was at Dave's warehouse this afternoon, and he has a few brand-new arcade monitors available for sale.

Well, as long as you only mostly hate me. Also, thank you for letting me know about David; I will take a look!
