Anyone here ever bought a replacement monitor chassis like the one from Alva Amusements or the Wei Ya brand chassis? If so what are your thoughts on it? I have thought about trying 1 or 2 of them out, as over the years of collecting I have more tubes than chassis laying around, and I could get some games up and running with these, but I wonder if I would be better off with finding original chassis.

my experience with a wei ya chassis is it wouldn't work with any of the 4 games I tried it on.
colors were all messed up.

now I got it on a 60 in 1 and it worked good on that.

My experience has been, that just like the kis sephias made int he factory across the street, the quality isnt so great.

Yes theyve worked for me, No they have never been perfect. FOr a old beater games or one you arent picky on theyre fine but if i had a super nice game like tron etc i would not be using a wei ya chassis on there. My biggest issue was linearity issues.

I have heard of guys also using these with tv tubes/yokes on a old monitor frame and basically "building" thier own burn free monitors.

using a wei-ya in a mortal kombat2 and a blue elf 2..........colors looks great but these take some patience to get adjust nice
