my game plan sharpshooter pin doesnt have a power supply. So i am trying to find one and the only options right now are a used one that is missing some parts (probably $20-30 with shipping), or a used/working complete one for $155.

I am trying to find other options to power the game - if even for the short term. I dont know if all of the other boards work or not, so i didnt want to throw $155 into it and find out that i need another 2 or 3 boards.

i would like to get this up and running by the end of the year for my son's birthday party. and the sooner that i get the powersupply, the sooner i can move forward with the rest of the repairs.

i guess i now know what others go through when the have a rare/uncommon game. parts are hard as hell to come by.

If you are talking about the PSU-1 power supply it doesn't look very complicated at all - just a few BRs and other basic ICs. I don't think it would be very difficult to rebuild the one with missing parts...

There is a working one listed on ePay for $79 obo -

I was working on a complete basket case Old Coney Island for a guy that needs 2 boards repaired/replaced and plenty of connector work - cosmetically the game is firewood and just the money involved in the board work is beyond what the game would be worth in working condition. I tried talking to him about parting it out but the guy won't budge, he is still convinced the game is worth a small fortune as is because of the amount of money it would take to repair... crazy!

Good luck on your search.

yeah i see that "working" one on ebay.. funny how he calls it working when all of the parts arent there.. hell, thats like saying a car in my back yard is working but when you pop the hood, there is no engine.

as-is i may offer that guy like $30.. paying $79 plus the $12 shipping plus $30 in new parts will put me close to the $155 that i can get a complete tested/working one.

I did receive a pm from someone who should have parts available. I am just waiting abit until he gets to those parts.
