Any CAX goers still at the hotel?

how long do they give you the CAX rate? through tonite?

maybe I show up in september and say "I'm from CAX" lol

We are still here too. Had a great evening - and visited the Pigeon Point Lighthouse about 40 miles west of the hotel along the coast off hwy. 1. Gorgeous night watching the sun set into the Pacific.

Driving back to So Cal in the morning - taking hwy 1 - 101 the whole way back - through Big Sur, Carmel, Monterrey.

The wife and I left the hotel today (Sunday) a little after noon. We went into San Jose and checked out a historical site called the Winchester Mystery House, built by a woman that was part of the Winchester (rifles) familiy line. It had all of this wild architecture; stairs going into the ceiling, doors that go no where, etc.

The ultimate irony....We get there, and they have an arcade with about 15 games: Pac, Centipeded, Dig Dug, Pole Position, Asteroids, Street Fighter 2 to name a few.

That is a cool house (only have seen documentaries about it). For those that don't know, here it is:

Interesting story. And an arcade, to boot!

I have lived in the area my whole life and have never been to the Winchester Mystery House.
I'll have to go there one of these days.

I am guilty of this as well - always seems people leave to go see/do things when there is stuff local that others come to check out - guess it has to be "out of town" to be good. :)

Yes, lived near there for 24 years. Went to many movies at the theater just walking distance from the place. Even know one of the tour guides at the place and have still never went there.
